Since Ohio doesn't have its own Occupational Health and Safety administrative program, also known as the Official State Plan, workers in Ohio remain subject to Federal OSHA Jurisdiction. In addition, although it's not compulsory by Federal law to enroll in OSHA courses since most employers in Ohio require basic safety precautions and a general overview, OSHA advises entry-level workers to complete training of 10 Hour courses and employees with supervisory roles to enroll in 30 Hour courses.
