Though most Kentucky workers fall into the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Jurisdiction, in places where Kentucky OSH has embraced the Federal Standards, the training requirements will remain the same irrespective of the Jurisdiction that includes anything in 803 Kentucky Administrative Regulations (KAR) Chapter 2 that hints “29 CFR”.
On the other hand, where Kentucky OSH adopted distinct Standards, the training requirements and topics will be state-specific. Fortunately, Kentucky issues unofficial paperwork that includes only the Kentucky-specific regulations for General Industry and Construction standards.
Though OSHA doesn’t mandate workers to take OSHA Outreach training, since it is a requirement by most employers, OSHA recommends the OSHA 10-Hour course for amateur workers and the OSHA 30-Hour course for workers with Supervisory roles.
