The Department of Industrial Regulations (DIR) manages CAL OSHA, also known as the California Occupational Safety and Health program. At the same time, the Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), the supervisor of the plan, inspects enforcements and consultations.
In order to create a safe and healthy work culture for Construction and General Industries, Californian employees are required to pursue OSHA Safety Training courses.
Besides complying with standards regulated by OSHA, Supervisors, Managers, Site Workers, and other employees must follow the State Plan of California prepared by the Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).
